Annual Business Meetings

This week we are having our annual OMS Haiti business meetings. We meet together to look at the past years goals and evaluate how we are doing on meeting those and determine if we need to refocus our goals or add new goals. Brett has orchestrated that each afternoon, 15 missionaries along with 20 of our Haitian leaders meet together as departments to develop visions and strategies that will help us to minister the love of Jesus more effectively to others. It has been a good time, exhausting - but good.

We are also happy to have our new regional directors (our bosses) Jeff and Laura Edwards here. This is their first time to Haiti. They are a blessing wherever they go! This morning in devotions, they shared with us how critical the unity of the body of Christ (the church) is in reaching the world. Just as couples have to work hard at having a successful marriage; so too, we need to work hard at having good relationships with others in the church.

This is NOT an option! We are to be ONE. We are to LOVE one another, as Christ loves! We are to forgive one another, as Christ forgives!

Is our church reflecting Christ to a lost world? Is my relationships with others reflecting Christ to a lost world!
